I recently stayed here as part of a large party of people attending a wedding. The place is clean and tidy but some facilities need modernising. Also bomb basic issues regarding day to day repairs need carrying out. For instance one room had no toilet seat on the toilet. That should not happen. Perhaps if I had that room I might be more critical in this reviewOverall - would I stay again? Probably but if the work in progress issues ( see trip advisor ) had not progressed I would not be back for a third visit.
My wife and I booked online from Australia for three nights. Beldon House is a beautiful Georgian house that the owner Tim is trying his best to ensure some authenticity with the renovations. Great location, great breakfasts and Tim is a great host. I would recommend this BB and hope Tim manages to successfully complete the upgrades before our next visit.

My friend and I have just spent the night here and it was lovely. Great modern room and bathroom lovely and warm .great host and very nice breakfast. Would recommend it to anybody. Five mins from town centre.
We stayed for 2 nights, paid a little extra for the penthouse and well worth it. Huge room, large comfy bed, lashings of hot water, lovely breakfast and very warm welcome from Tim the manager. Would definitely stay again.
